Virtual Fishery

Welcome to the virtual fishery management section of the site. Here you can manage your very own online virtual fishery where you'll see your venues evolve over time. To access this section you will need to become a member of the site. Once you are a member, you will be given 100,000 in virtual money to spend to create your own fishery and empire.

Initially you will want to spend a portion of your virtual currency on a venue. There are two ways you can do this, you can either search through existing established venues that other users have put up for sale, or you can purchase and stock your own venue from scratch. Once you have a stocked venue, your fish will come to life. This means they will live, die, grow and spawn. The better you manage your venues and stocks, the more virtual anglers will visit generating more revenue to spend on new fish stocks, or even extra venues.

All virtual fisheries run faster than real time, with a virtual month taking just 7 days in real time. That means that after 12 weeks, your fish are a year older ! You will receive daily reports telling you how many virtual anglers have visited your lakes and what they've caught, this information gives you an indication of how well ( or not ) your venues are doing.

What's the point of all this you may ask, well besides being fun in itself, this is the way you create your very own venues for Compleat Angler. All with the click of a button !
