Fishing Simulator 2 news..

As predicted plenty of 20's came out in the Trophy challenge yesterday. Most of the 64 anglers who attended chose to fish Scotney Castle, Border Fisheries and the new venue Fojtuv Revir. Other anglers tried Around the World, Whiteacres 2, Normans fishery and Zwirowria Wojanow ( say that after a few pints ! ).

Early on in the day saw Klamer PL landing a 30 lb'er from Zwirowria, and Morana CZ then landing his first fish at Fojtuv, both of these fish proved crucial when it came to the final weigh in which placed these two first and second. Matez pl, Shabba, Fana8 CZ and Alan also landed 30's which secured them all a top 10 finish.

Scotney and Border proved the most productive, especially when fished with Fatty Spice Medium Boiles, this seemed to be a common bait with most anglers throughout the day. Even though these two venues fished well, they weren't producing the really huge fish needed to challenge the leaders.

All in all yesterdays challenge was quite a frustrating one i'd say judging by the comments on Petes funfish server, where despite this the banter was still good and the ever reliable Stevie kept baggin the big near 18 lb + carp. A few anglers ventured over to Zwirowria Wojanow to try and land a whopper but decided that it was probably easier to pronounce than catch a carp ! Gazza Wakey apparently did have some success though and did land a carp, albeit a Crucian.

Todays challenge is the River Eye fishing for Pike and Perch which should be catchable at this time of year, in fact rumour has it that even at this early stage Kenny Ken jnr has landed an 8lb + pike.

There's little change in the leagues, in the Premier League Morana CZ still leads the way, although Bob Poultney and Stevie are still in touch. Bertik 007 CZ still heads division 1, whilst in division 2 Maciek has taken over the lead. Phoenix Thorn heads the field in division 3.

It's nice to see some life still in Fishsim and the comments made below are very welcome and appreciated. For anyone not fishing the trophy today who fancies a bash at the records there's a new venue Bank end that has just been validated, which may present a few elusive record opportunities. Right, it's time to thread the line through the eye of a hook, and head over to the River Eye for some pike fishing... Tight lines.
