Tench and bream were the target species yesterday with most anglers choosing to target the tench, although some did have success with some very good bream, in fact the biggest fish of the day was a bream. On hearing the rules, most anglers packed there tackle and headed straight for the River Lot and Clayhole, two venues very well known for good stocks of both species. However, even though Clayhole was producing tench and the odd bream, they were not nearly big enough to take the top spots, so the wise anglers chanced the luck at the new Fojtuv Revir venue. This new venue has proved popular in the trophy fishsim challenges this week and it didn't disappoint yesterday either producing the biggest fish of the day with just an hour of the match remaining. Poacher was the angler who lured the fish with 5 big pieces of Luncheon meat fatty hair-rigged onto size 6 hook. It didn't take long for the bream of just drams over 18 lb to be tempted.

The huge bream was only enough to take Poacher to 4th place for the day, with the current division 3 leader Phoenix Thorn taking top spot with a considerable margin. Kenny Ken and Kenny Ken jnr rounded out the overall top 3. A mention must also be made for Sav who, although finished 8th, caught a nice 17 1/2 lb bream at Fojtuv, this time tempting it with 5 portions of huge Fatty Spice paste. A lot of the 92 anglers who participated today managed to catch with ease, but found it difficult finding the double figure fish.

At midday information on todays match at Lake Montana started to filter around, and some anglers decided to give the bream and tench an early bath for the day and work on tactics for todays challenge. After a bit of pre-fishing, it was soon realised it was going to be tough going. A meeting was called and over some tapioca pudding and a slice of battenburg cake, it was agreed a change needed to be made to the rules so the advertised sturgeon were dropped to be replaced by the easier to catch wels catfish. This decision has been vindicated by early reports of captures of three 30 lb catfish by Maggie, Kenny Ken jnr and Carpy

Morana CZ is now pulling a lead out in the premier league and is currently 50 points ahead of Bob Poultney, Stevie has lost track slightly in third place, but there's still plenty left to fish for. Divison one is as you were yesterday with Bertik 007 CZ leading the way over Alan. Divison two is still headed by Tigeress 111 who is now pulling out a bit of a lead over maciek and Phoenix Thorns win today has helped strength his position at the top of division 3, however with a total of 7 accolades to his credit so far, it would be a fool to discount Lenny Pike from the race just yet.

It is pleasing to report that the news from yesterday has been rectified by the Czech site and they have been very cooperative in removing download links to Fishsim 2. It's difficult to comment further on this, but I as the author can't even have a link for people to download Fishsim 2 freely.

It was also refreshing and reminiscent of old times to see lots of people on Petes funfish server having a laugh and a joke ( link provided to the running servers page for anyone who wants to fish online, you can find the IP addresses on the link above ).
