Fishing Simulator 2 news...

Yesterdays match saw 111 anglers turn up at JCB North Lake in search of common bream and barbel. At the weigh in, it was Alan who was congratulated after amassing a net full of 5 bream for a total weight of 47 lb 13 oz's. The biggest bream in the net was weighed seperately and turned out to be a huge 11 lb 14 oz which was easily the biggest fish caught all day. Most of Alans fish came around midday and were all caught on ledgered small fatty spice boilies. Just under 8 oz's behind in second place was Bob Poultney, who also caught five large bream using very similar tactics to the leader. Trigger concentrated mainly on the barbel and caught some nice specimens during the day to take third place in the match. All these fish came in the early hours between 1am and 3am and were tempted by ledgered AD Ultra G paste. Phoenix Thorn came in fourth place with a mixture of bream and barbel caught on black pudding paste and fatty luncheon meat. Finally completing the top 5 was Dazza whose good run of results continue. Dazza caught both bream and barbel during the day, but it wa the barbel that contributed most weight to the net. No one managed to catch the tagged fish yesterday, so the bonus rolls on to 4 points.

Alan was the top premier league angler of the day yesterday and is sitting in third place in the league. Bob Poultney came second overall which was enough to leapfrog Kenny Ken jnr and head the division. Trigger was again the division one angler of the month with a third place finish in the match. This means that Trigger has now extended the lead at the top of division one to 82 points. Phoenix Thorn had a very good day also with a top five finish in the match, the net result of this is that now Phoenix has catapulted into the runners-up position in the league. Tris and Linda occupy the final two automatic promotion places. An excellent 6th place from Pikie was good enough to take the title of division two angler of the day and also move Pikie up into 4th place in the division. Luktyk.pl still has a slender 30 point lead at the top over Mark Silver who came 7th yesterday. Finally in the third division, Grom3r was the only angler from this division to finish in the top 10. Delboy still leads the league over Oczkos1990_pl by around 60 points. Topman and Darren Tipton-Lee are looking good for promotion in third and fourth place.

Today is cup day again with the match being held at Fenhaven, as usual any species can be caught. The tagged fish is an 8 lb 9 oz 9 dr carp and is worth 4 points to anyone that lands it. The draw has been made and thrown up the following ties :

One of these ties in particular is really interesting. Delboy and Kenny Ken jnr ( father and son ) have been drawn together in what should be an interesting tie to watch. At this stage in the cup there's never going to be an easy draw for anyone, and all of the above ties are predicted to be very close. Good luck to all fishing today.
